"These paintings come from instant photographs where drama is taking place and where the artist rushes in. The journalistic image reinterpreted we catched already in the charcoal works exhibited at Oslo Cultural Centre in 1990 is deconstructed and becomes more evanescent : the bodies are being fragmented, come next to each others and are glorified by a surrounding graphism, a sort of commemorating frame."
